Tiffin Little Box ShopTake a weekend excursion, enjoy the festive season of Fall and the approaching holidays, visit the Little Box Shops’ Holiday Happenings held in historic Tiffin, Ohio on Saturday, November 6th from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. and Sunday, November 7th from 12 Noon to 5 P.M. The Little Box Shops are a collection of unique locally owned shops, attractions, restaurants and motels where friendly owners offer signature items, expert advice and warm hospitality …all in a style reminiscent of the past. Thirty businesses are participating this year, offering open houses, demonstrations, specials, refreshments and more. Glass blowing, crystal hand cutting, pottery making, stained glass, jewelry making, shaker boxes and painted Christmas ornaments are among the demonstrations taking place. Visit the Tiffin Art Gallery to see artisans beautiful displays. The Tiffin Glass Museum houses glassware from 1889 to the early eighties for visitors to admire and enjoy Tiffin’s Glass Heritage. At Crystal Traditions, visitors can watch the art of glass blowing and crystal wheel engraving. The Enchanted Moment Doll Museum and Shoppe will be appraising dolls during the event. The Seneca County Convention and Visitors Bureau will have Seneca County items for sale over the weekend. The Tiffin Area Chamber of Commerce is offering gift-wrap to ease your hectic holiday schedule.
There are other events being held the same weekend. Enjoy glass from the past at the Fall Tiffin Glass Collectors Show and Sale held Saturday from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. and Sunday from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. at the School of Opportunity, 780 E. Co. Rd. 20. Enjoy the arts at Ritz Theatre, a beautifully restored historic theatre. The American Civil War Museum premiering in a temporary location, 207 S. Washington Street is open to visitors where they can learn about the Civil War and experience hands-on activities.
